iSkill’s mission is to provide all-round skilling for teachers. We enable anyone anywhere to create and share educational content (instructors) and to access that educational content to upskill (Teachers). We consider our marketplace model the best way to offer valuable educational content to upskill Teachers.
Iskill is a unique option among online learning platforms. We market ourselves as a “course marketplace.” Iskill
offers an open platform for instructors to create and market their own courses. The courses are then rated by online students on a five-star scale, resulting in an educational merit system
One of the best things about Iskill is that you can login to your account from virtually anywhere, whenever you want, and access your courses easily! ... Once you purchase a course, you'll have access for life, provided that your account is in good standing and Iskill continues to have a license to that course.
You may not share your account login credentials with anyone else. You are responsible for what happens with your account and Iskill will not intervene in disputes between students or instructors who have shared account login credentials
If you want to learn new skills but aren't necessarily looking for a degree or courses affiliated with a college or university, Iskill might be a good fit for you. Iskill does issue certificates, but these are not accredited or university-aligned. So it's recommended that you've other educational experiences or certifications from a more formal organization and include them in your resume before the Iskill certifications you've used
Iskill courses can be listed in the education section on a resume. ... Employers tend to value “true” work experience more so than education, so listing courses on a resume is typically only done by undergrads or new graduates with little practical experience
